Events for Election Campaign

Eyre Peninsula Trip 10th June 2016

This will be updated as meeting places are secured.

As part of my campaign, I am planning a trip to the Eyre Peninsula to talk to people along the way and find what people want from a South Australian Senator in Federal Parliament

The trip will commence on Friday 10th June 2016 leaving Adelaide at approximately 2pm, just after the Australian Electoral Commission announcement of candidates for the election.

I expect to arrive at Port Wakefield at around 3pm and will be there for an hour. Then onto the Tin Man Roadhouse at the turn off into Port Pirie at around 4:30pm. I will be there for about an hour also, but longer if required.

From Port Pirie, I will be travelling to Port Augusta and expect to arrive around 7:30pm. I will stay in Port Augusta overnight and will be available on Saturday morning from 9am. I am hoping to be able to speak to the media and so it would be great if supporters could meet at the same place (to be advised) to show your support for Mature Australia Party to the media.

I expect to leave Port Augusta around 11am and head to Whyalla where I will appear for lunch at the Westfield Shopping Centre for around an hour.

From Whyalla, I will be making my way to Port Lincoln and staying overnight there. An afternoon – 4pm meeting is available for supporters and again on Sunday morning at 9am (places to be advised).

I leave Port Lincoln Sunday morning around 11am and travel back to Port Augusta where I will meet with more supporters and media if possible. I will stay overnight in Port Augusta and leave around 9am Monday morning.

I will travel back to Adelaide via Clare and Riverton on Monday stopping in each for about an hour.

Then returning to Adelaide for a well deserved rest.

You can watch out for us along the way. We will be driving a Bright Blue Suzuki Swift with magnetic signs on the doors with my picture and Mature Australia logo. I will also be posting on my Darryl Bothe for Senate Facebook page about our progress and remind people where to meet up.
